Thermal imaging is a quick way to evaluate the entire horse which is a time saver for your vet and yourself.

If your horse is a little off on his game thermal imaging can help locate the problem.

Early detection can give you the chance to prevent an injury that leads to vet bills and extended time off.

Behavioral issues that are signs of possible physical problems include:

Problems at the gate

Won’t flex to one direction or the other

Tail swishing

Head bobbing when being saddled

Refusing to turn a barrel

What is thermography?

Thermography and the theory have been around for a long time.  It started in roman times with mud being used to see what body part had heat causing the mud to dry faster.  Modern day thermography has been used mostly in the military. Now it’s being used in the medical fields of both humans and animals.

Thermography shows areas of both inflammation (usually hot) and nerve dysfunction (usually cold).

Thermography is a completely non-invasive procedure with no radiation and is FDA approved.
